Context
A user-centred redesign focused on making the Girl Effect platform more inclusive, engaging, and impactful. The project enhanced accessibility for diverse users, introduced intuitive navigation and low-bandwidth optimisation, and refreshed the visual design to better resonate with young audiences while encouraging participation and long-term impact.
Challenges identified

Navigation difficulty in finding key information due to unclear structure and inconsistent menu hierarchy

Usability and accessibility lack of intuitive interactions and incomplete adherence to accessibility standards

Storytelling ineffective communication of brand narrative and limited emotional engagement with users
